Hello. My name is Nicola Allan. I’m an artist, writer and astrologer based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Nicola spent most of her childhood in the magical, mystical landscapes of Southeast Asia, where her early love for art and storytelling began to take shape. She later attended boarding school back in the UK before going on to study law, eventually practising as a lawyer for just over twelve years. In 2020, she was living in Mexico and working remotely as both a lawyer and illustrator, when the pandemic dried up all her usual sources of work. A chance encounter with an astrologer and tarot reader led to the making of her first tarot deck, and began her journey to the creation of The Wild Way when she returned home to Scotland in 2021. Nicola has since undertaken formal astrology study and incorporates this into her work with Astraea Creative, a publishing company she founded in 2022.
